Overview

GenZBaby is a collaborative SwiftUI blog application inspired by early 2000s pop culture and nostalgic entertainment culture. The project’s visual identity, including the playful “GZB” logo and pastel aesthetic, was designed to reflect the colorful and expressive feel of the 2000s era while giving the platform a modern mobile-first experience.

Built with Firebase Authentication and Firestore, the app allows users to securely create accounts, publish categorized posts, browse a dynamic blog feed, delete content, and attach image URLs to reviews across music, movies, and television categories. The platform was designed to feel lightweight, interactive, and visually distinct from traditional blog applications.

My contributions focused on the technical backend and application functionality, including building the authentication and registration system, implementing the filtering logic and foundational blog feed architecture, and integrating Firebase Firestore across the application. The project was developed collaboratively, combining frontend design, animations, and interface polish with backend infrastructure and database integration.
